The Key to Coach Zauner's Success Is His Teaching Philosophy Which Focuses On Individuality

Before I coached Special Teams in the NFL, I was regarded as the best individual kicking instructor in the Country! Tutoring and coaching some of the best kickers and punters in college and the NFL. The list is unprecedented amongst kicking coaches. Also, before I entered the NFL, some of the best NFL Head Coaches retained my services as a Kicking Consultant.

The reason I have been successful in my coaching and consulting career working with punters,kickers, and special teams goes back to my college education at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse teachers college. As a teacher you learn there are certain ways to teach; for example the part-whole or whole-part methods. You learn how to organize and put lesson plans together. Also, in my anatomy, physiology and kinesiology classes I learned about the movement of the body or bio-mechanics. I believe my educational background thru undergraduate and graduate school prepared me for my coaching career.

Growing up, I had a passion for punting and kicking a football, and my aspirations of making it to the NFL fueled my ambition to find out the how's and why's of punting and kicking a football, and to make myself better. During graduate school I did several studies that focused on kicking. With this experience and knowledge I published two instructional manuals & video's on the Art of Punting and Kicking.
